Biography
General introduction
Tom Van Assche holds various degrees in chemical engineering and received a PhD-degree for his dissertation regarding adsorption phenomena. Currently he is professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, where he is teaching courses in the field of chemical engineering. His research activities are situated in the field of chemical engineering, with focus on cyclic adsorption processes.
Research
His research focuses on analyzing the behavior of adsorbents with respect to their final application in cyclic adsorption processes (TSA, PSA).
