On Monday Sept. 21st, Prof. Gert Desmet (Head of Research Group Chemical Engineering and Separation Sciences) was awarded the prestigious Tswett-Nernst award from the Central European Group on Separation Science during a ceremony held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The award is named after the famous scientists Mikhail Tswett (discoverer of chromatography) and Walther Nernst (Nobel laureate for Chemistry).
